I don't - I really don't - believe this!  5 o'clock, NY Eve and my teaching 'colleague' (who I shall not name for fear of recriminations, but YOU know who I mean), has just rung to ask if I've planned the first week's literacy yet, and can I email it to her - so she can check it over!!!! Erm, now then, let me think...NO!

New Year's Eve

So, it's New Year's Eve and my mother's ermailing me asking 'Where are you off to partying tonight then?' And here am I, stuck in the house - planning! They never told me about this in my training.  Still, it is only three o'clock, and I have done quite a bit of it and I'm sure all work and no play is definitely not a good thing, so to hell with it...time for an aperitif, I think!
